Kiddos Create is an art class for children. Located inside my home and open to my friends and neighbors. I hope to build a community of little artists around my messy kitchen table.
a little about me
I’m Tessa Gibbs! I have a Bachelors of Fine Art degree from UW-Stevens Point and I worked in the design field for 6 years. I also have experience working with children as a camp counselor and childcare provider for a total of 7 years. Today, my job is stay-at-home parent. I can’t wait to create with you!

Tree Holiday Cards for St.Mary's Care Center (FULL)
CLASS SIZE: 5 CHILDREN (Currently full)
AGE: all ages
COST: Free
Come over and create hand-made tree cards for the wonderful community at St.Mary’s Care Center. Make as many as you’d like and take one home for a loved one. Older kiddos can collage a tree using triangle shapes, washi tape, and circle punches. Younger kiddos can free paint and I’ll have a tree cutout to glue on top.
Things to note:
Class is open to my friends and acquaintances in my neighborhood.
All children must have an adult with them.
Siblings are welcome to tag along and can play close by.
Art class takes place inside my home.

Spooky Faces
CLASS SIZE: 5 CHILDREN
AGE: 2-4 YEARS OLD
COST: Free
Get silly and create halloween inspired faces. Wearing a costume is highly recommended but only if it’s easy to take off to paint. 👻

Leaf Creatures
CLASS SIZE: 6 CHILDREN
AGE: 2-6 YEARS OLD
COST: Donation Based
Location: Sandstone Park 3937 Manchester Rd, Madison
Create cute leaf creatures or a leaf collage at this outside class. I’ll bring a selection of leaves but I encourage you to bring some of your own as well. We can also collect more if needed.

The location is NOT at my house this time. Please come straight to Sandstone Park. If there is bad weather, the class is cancelled and I’ll notify people via email.
Paint + Play Sensory Art
This is a quick setup I put together for my 1 year old. The class setup will be slightly different.
CLASS SIZE: 4 CHILDREN MAX (CURRENTLY FULL)
AGE: 1-3 YEARS OLD
COST: $5 PER CHILD
Have fun with sensory/process art in this class. I will supply non-toxic paint, dot markers, brushes, and a small canvas. I encourage you to model a few motions but then watch their magical minds explore and create. The journey of creation is the most important thing to take away from this class. However, you can take home your final product to remember the fun. It will get messy but don’t worry, we’re not at your house. 😉
Following the project, I will play music and have a few baskets of toys for the littles to play with.

Apple Stamped Towels
Class size: 4 children max (1 spot left)
Age: 3-6 years old
Cost: $6 per child
Watch and help your child create beautiful tea towels that you can use in your kitchen. I will preform a brief apple cutting demo to show them how to create a stamp out of food. Next, I’ll provide pre-cut apple stamps and all the supplies needed to create 1 stamped towel to take home.
Following the project, I will read a few books while the projects dry.
