Sour Apples

I’m guilty of wanting to capture a photo opportunity that marks the season’s best events. But when it comes to bringing an antsy toddler to an apple orchard solo, maybe I should rethink that opportunity.

Above all else, it reminds me to take everything I see on social media with a grain of salt. Cute apple orchard photos is an example of a highlight reel and some people want to see that stuff. But on the other hand, I could be making others feel left out. In reality, Benji refused to walk and cried in the car. There were moments of joy and these photos are proof of that. I will always find the brightside so even though he wasn’t happy the entire time, I’m still glad we did it. But maybe next time, I should bring a helping hand.

He loved putting apples in the bag. Too bad all of the ones he picked were rotten. :)

If you live in southern Wisconsin, Apple Berry is a great little orchard to venture to for fresh pickings.
