Logo Project: Organically Becca

OG_Logo_BlogPost-opening.png

Becca from Organically Becca asked me to create a new logo mark for her blogging biz. Her social bio describes her perfectly: “Your guide to clean beauty, natural skincare, holistic living (with a dose of balance)”. I love following her journey online but I knew this amazing woman before the word “organically” lived in-front of her name. We met in college and I still call her a dear friend. In the past few years, I’ve watched her side-gig grow into what it is today. I am proud of her accomplishments to say the least.

I designed with intention by looking at Becca’s existing brand and created a logo that compliments it. This will ensure a seamless transition and retains some brand recognition.

Creating an abstract logo is risky. As a designer, I (nervously) hope viewers make good interpretations. When Becca shared it with her audience, she asked the big question: “what do you see in the graphic?”. I was thrilled with the answers and felt a form of success. Instead of describing my intent, I’ll let the audience do the talking. I’ve posted a few quotes from Becca’s post below.

I see an O and a B and it has a plant based feel. Love it!

For some reason I see an Orange with 2 leaves? 🍊 Doesn’t matter though because this logo is PERFECT!

Before I end this post, I’ll leave you with a few examples of the logo in context. I (very quickly) put together a few examples how how I envision the logo living in the real world.
