Flower Craft for Kids

DIY

Do you need an easy craft for your kids to do outside? Try making flower people! It was a lovely activity to bring to the park. We ate a picnic lunch, collected wildflowers, and added beautiful hair to these faces. I highly recommend it if you feel burned out with regular park visits. Plus, you probably already have all of the supplies! Side note: I prepared the faces ahead of time before going outside.

SUPPLIES

  • Cardboard

  • Cutting tool (scissors or blade)

  • Pencil

  • Black marker

  • Wildflowers

Steps

  1. Draw the faces with pencil on a piece of cardboard.

  2. Trace your drawings with black marker.

  3. Cut them out.

  4. Poke holes on the head with something sharp. A hole punch hole’s will be too large for flower stems. I carefully rotated my blade to make a hole.

  5. Thread flower stems through the holes.

Thanks for stopping by! If you happen to make them, tag my instagram handle, @tessamichelle4. I want to see how yours turn out.
