Toddler Craft: Sunshine Cards

We could all use some extra sunshine, wouldn’t you agree? I have a connection to a local nursing home and there are so many residents who need a burst of love (as you can imagine with the pandemic). Creating a few cards and giving them to residents is an easy act of kindness. But don’t give me credit! It was my dear friend and neighbor who orchestrated it and I am happy to contribute.

Benji and I made these sunshine cards together. I painted the outline and Benji’s filled it in with the brighter color. So simple and what a lovely outcome. The inside message says “We hope you have a sunshiny and cheerful day!”.

Now, who else wants some happy mail?
